Yup, this Hi and Lois has to be the worst Twitter gag of all the dozens of sad comic Twitter gags this year. The comic characters need to stage an intervention -- I'm thinking of something along the lines of the intervention for Christopher on The Sopranos (beginning at around the 4:00 mark).
